Behind the Brand: Bottle of Wellness by House of Coco

Bottle of Wellness started in April 2016, based in Singapore. Specialised in kids friendly products. A mother of two who looks out for the best, most natural & safest ingredients for her little precious ones since 2014. She believes the best starts from home. Their oiling journey started from an introduction by their doula, due to their breastfeeding struggles. The first essential oil they ever owned was fennel.

When did you launch the brand and what was the reason behind it?
Bottle of Wellness was launched in 2016. All thanks to motherhood. We wanted the best for our little ones. And believes the best starts from home. We feel great when we know what goes into the bottle & onto their skin.

What’s your background?
Bottle of Wellness run by a stay at home mother of two.

What is the hardest challenge you have faced since you started the company?
To start up our brand from the start, gain customers trust. Because it’s a small company, mostly depends on your own hard work. When i gave birth & fall sick etc, everything will come to a still stop for a moment until i’m back on my feet again to resume.

Tell us one fact about you that people wouldn’t know?
I left my full time paid job to fully concentrate on this business & my children.

2018, where do you plan on taking the brand?
We would love to be involved in more events. This allows us to meet our loyal customers & thank them personally.

To date, what has been the highlight since launching?
To be featured in Vogue magazine & to our own office space dedicated for all things Bottle of Wellness!

Which city do you feel most at home in, London, Paris or New York?
London! London has always been special.

Three beauty products you can’t leave the house without?
Moisturizer, sunscreen & BB cream!

Style means….?
Looking good yet comfortable!

Best thing about London to you?
Shopping paradise! And all the great Halal food available!

Statement shoe or statement bag?
Both! But i’m a bag person so i’m all for bags!

If you had to, what piece of clothing from your wardrobe would you wear everyday?
Anything iron-free material! HAHA!

Favourite love song?
All time favourite, Bella Luna by Jason Mraz

Most memorable piece of advice given to you?
From my mom. “Do good anyway, no matter what anyone does to you.”

Guilty pleasure?
Bags, bags & more bags! Since, i was younger, i have the habit of changing my school bags & now, i can’t help getting more bags to rotate.

If you could spent 24 hours in anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Anywhere, as long as my family sticks to me.

In future, how do you plan on expanding the company?
Probably selling them at more retail stores & internationally.
